ABOUT US

The school was founded in 2006 by Kate Broughton RAD RTS (Principal/Director).            
Kate began as a ‘one man band’ running Ballet classes for children at a Church hall in West London, starting with only 6 girls!
Kate achieved her teaching certificate from the Royal Academy of Dance and has never looked back.
Now in 2012, Kate’s School of Dance is a growing school with over 100 students and more joining each term as new classes are added.
And the many Zumba lovers!

STREET DANCE & SALSA
Miss Lisy is an accomplished dancer and studied in the city of Toulouse (France) for years where she gained her national diploma for teaching dance. Her skills include teaching dance with a strong knowledge of anatomy, music, dance history and movement analysis.

As a dance teacher and animator, Lisy has worked with children and people of various ages as well as disabled children all across Europe. Discovery, creativity, enjoyment and mutual respect therefore play a major role in her fresh and friendly classes. 

Constantly bearing in mind the analysis and refinement of her work, Lisy regularly follows specialized workshops and courses and is CRB checked as well as first-aid trained. 

Today Miss Lisy offers a diversified teaching method and enjoys to turn dance into a unique experience for every individual student.
